When put to the test 7-Eleven makes a better tasting cuppa joe
In a blind taste test, 7-Eleven’s coffee beats out leading coffee retailers
Vancouver, BC – In an independent blind taste test led by Les Kuan of the Canadian Barista and Coffee Academy conducted for CTV Vancouver, 7-Eleven’s take-home brew of Colombian coffee went up against coffees from big name coffee shops. 7-Eleven’s coffee came second only to a local artisan coffee roaster, and was also voted the affordable best choice.
It won’t come as a surprise for 7-Eleven coffee loyalists who enjoy both 7-Eleven’s Coffee Bar and take-home brew java. The Coffee Bar at 7-Eleven has won over many a coffee lover with their 100% premium Arabica, hand selected coffee beans that are roasted in small batches in Canada for peak freshness and ethically sourced and harvested. As an added bonus of 7-Eleven’s Coffee Bar is that all syrups, toppings, and condiments are free so that you can always have the coffee exactly the way you like it.
This Valentine’s Day, Wednesday February 14th, 7-Eleven is sharing the love with a free small hot beverage for all 7Rewards members. That includes their Canadian-roasted, 100% premium Arabica Coffee (7-Eleven’s Exclusive blend won the Silver Medal at the 2016 Golden Bean Awards.) 7-Eleven also offers 50 cent coffee refills when customers bring in their own reusable cup – what’s not to love?
With the new 7Rewards points program, every 7th cup is still free and customers can earn points towards free drinks and snacks. New members get 1,000 welcome points which can be redeemed for a large coffee and other free food and snacks. For more information on 7Rewards, visit www.7Rewards.ca.
